Senator Tarr moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 3303 — A Bill to amend and reenact §5B-2A-4 and§5B-2A-5 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, all relating to the Office of Coalfield Community Development; continuing the Office of Coalfield Community Development under the Department of Economic Development; providing that the Governor appoint and set the salary of the director of the office by July 1, 2026; providing that funding for position to carry out the duties of the office shall be as provided by appropriation of the Legislature; clarifying and providing additional duties, powers, and responsibilities for the Office of Coalfield Community Development; and providing a sunset date.
